Mode of booking homestays post digitalization India 2019-2020

Around 67 percent of respondents to a survey on post digitalization of homestays in India from 2019 to 2020 stated that they booked homestays through digital travel portals. Furthermore, 27 percent of the respondents stated they personally visited homestays to book for their stay in the country.

Homestay is a mode of hospitality whereby guests stay at a private residence. The length of stay as well as the size of the accommodation vary.
