
E-commerce sales value of haircare in China 2019-2020, by e-commerce type
In the market year ending in May 2020, around 16.9 billion yuan worth of haircare product were sold on B2C e-commerce platforms in China, accounting for 75.3 percent of the total hair product e-commerce sales. During the same period, approximately 5.54 billion yuan worth of haircare items were sold via C2C e-commerce.
