Reported deaths from malaria in Angola 2010-2021
In 2021, 13,676 deaths from malaria were reported in Angola. Compared to the previous year, the number of casualties increased from 11,757. According to the source estimates, fatalities due to malaria in the country represented 2.8 percent of the global deaths from the disease. Malaria is one of the main health issues in Angola. Over seven million cases of the disease were confirmed in the country as of 2021.
