Number of active oil rigs in Colombia 2012-2022
In December 2022, there were 35 active oil rigs in Colombia, more than twice as many reported two years earlier. Between 2015 and 2019, the number of active rigs in the South American country had been on a continual increase. In that period, Colombia's crude oil production averaged above 850 thousand barrels per day.
