PISA student performance South Korea 2018, by subject and gender
In the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) conducted in 2018, South Korean female students scored 526 in reading literacy, performing better than male students. In mathematics and science, boys performed better than girls. That year, South Korean students scored 526 points in mathematics, ranking second among the member countries of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
