Morocco: leading gas projects 2021

As of 2021, the Gas to Power Project (LNG Import Terminal) of the Office National de l’Electricité et de l’Eau Potable (ONEE) was the leading gas project in Morocco in terms of its investment value which reached 600 million U.S. dollars. Moreover, Sound Energy's Tendrara-Gazoduc Maghreb Gas Pipeline project registered an investment value of 600 million U.S. dollars. Overall, in the Middle East and North Africa region, over 454 billion U.S. dollars were dedicated to planned and committed projects in the energy sector as of 2021.
