Export value of ores, slag, and ash from South Africa 2015-2019
In 2019, an approximate value of 1.3 billion U.S. dollars of ores, slag, and ash were exported from South Africa. This was a slight increase in value in comparison to the preceding year, when roughly 1.17 billion U.S. dollars of the products were exported. Furthermore, China was the main trade partner of South Africa in terms of mineral ore, slag, and ash exports with a share of close to 54 percent.
