The year 2020 was an outstanding year for all industries around the world. The fast-food service industry was no exception. The COVID-19 virus led to all restaurants in France closing their doors to the public for a long-term period in 2020. Despite the alternative solutions that emerged during the pandemic, fast-food restaurants suffered losses that year. In fact, spending in fast-food restaurants in 2020 was down nearly 40 percent compared to the previous year in France.
