Distribution of migrants in Libya 2021, by region
As of February 2021, more than half of the migrants in Libya resided in the Western part of the country. The Southern part hosted 18 percent of migrants, while 30 percent of them were located in the Eastern region. While the number of migrants recently increased in the East of Libya, it decreased in its Southern region due to a relative lack of safety and security.
