Sugar exports from Morocco 2020, by leading destination
In 2020, Turkey was the main importer of sugars and sugar confectionery from Morocco, as around 67.5 million U.S. dollars of the products were imported. The United States and Lebanon followed, reporting import values of approximately 32.9 million and 24.5 million U.S. dollars, respectively. Generally, over 312 million U.S. dollars of sugars and sugar confectionery were exported from Morocco in 2020.
