A May 2021 survey in the Philippines revealed that 33 percent of Filipino respondents identified themselves as most responsible for stopping the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the country. In comparison, 31 percent of Filipinos believed that the national government were responsible for controlling the spread of the virus.
