Export value of wool and other animal hair from South Africa 2015-2019
In 2019, the export value of wool and other animal hair from South Africa amounted to an approximate value of 380 million U.S. dollars. This was a decrease in value in comparison to the preceding year, when roughly 480 million U.S. dollars of the products were exported. Furthermore, China was one of the main trade partners of South Africa in terms of wool exports with a share of nearly 50 percent.
