GHG emissions of select meat and dairy companies worldwide 2016
It is estimated that the top five biggest dairy and meat companies in the world produce more combined greenhouse gas emissions per year than countries such as the United Kingdom and France. The Brazilian meat processing firm JBS S.A. is estimated to produce the equivalent of 280 million metric tons of carbon dioxide each year.
