Number of higher education institutions in Tunisia 2013-2022
In the 2021/2022 academic year, the total number of tertiary educational institutions in Tunisia reached 279. This meant that 34 new higher educational institutions were launched since the academic year 2013/2014. The biggest increment took place in 2014/2015, as 21 new academic institutions were opened.
