
Exposure to air pollution by particles smaller than 2.5 µg in the CEE region 2019
Among the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, the annual mean concentration of fine particles (PM2.5) was the highest in urban areas of Bulgaria (19.6 μg/m3) and Poland (19.3 μg/m3). On the other hand, the lowest concentration was recorded in Estonia at 4.8 μg/m3 in 2019.
