Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, travel and tourism were disrupted across the world. Caution over booking vacations rose among the French travelers. During an April 2021 survey, 72 percent of French vacationers planned to go on summer holiday in 2021. However, many of them did not plan their stay in advance.
