Preferred summer holiday destinations of French travelers pre and post COVID-19 2021
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic resulted in many uncertainties in French travel behavior. During an April 2021 survey, nearly 70 percent of French travelers intending to go on summer holiday planned to stay in France in 2021, while almost 15 percent considered going to another European country. During the years preceding the COVID-19 pandemic, the majority of French vacationers preferred vacations in France, while 20 percent preferred traveling to another European country.
