Women's age at perimenopause onset worldwide as of 2020, by country
As of 2020, the majority of women across the globe started going through perimenopause (which usually lasts 3 to 5 years before menstruation totally stops and menopause begins) at around 45 to 50 years of age. In Poland, as much as 31 percent said perimenopause began when they were under 45 years old.
