Evolution of new job offers posted in the tourism sector in France 2021
The tourism, hospitality, and restaurant sectors were hard hit by the COVID-19 crisis. The pandemic had a direct impact on the supply of jobs available in these industries. The number of job offers posted in all these sectors decreased by more than 70 percent in January 2021 compared to the same period of the previous year. Despite the crisis, the number of jobs in the hospitality and restaurant sector increased by seven percent in 2020 compared to the previous year.
