According to a survey on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in 2020, about half the respondents stated that their n-store shopping decreased following the COVID-19 pandemic, while 39 percent stated that their shopping through their PC increased. In 2020, the growth curve of the e-commerce industry in the region had accelerated by five years in about five months.
