COVID-19 impacts on layoffs among firms Vietnam 2020, by business size
In 2020, among the surveyed domestic private enterprises in Vietnam, 36 percent of micro-sized private firms revealed that they laid off their employees due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Meanwhile, among the surveyed FDI enterprises in the country, around 32 percent of the large-sized firms reported that they reduced their workforces during the pandemic.
