Humanitarian aid funding to Mozambique 2019-2021
As of June 2021, Mozambique had received around 48.5 million U.S. dollars in humanitarian funding. The governments of Mozambique and Canada were the main source of funding in the period. In 2019, over 400 million U.S. dollars in aid funding were available in Mozambique. That year, the country was hit by the devastating cyclones Idai and Kenneth, which caused deaths and massive destruction.
