The number of hours of audiovisual works supported by the French Centre National du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC) bought by TV channels in France has been decreasing since 2015. In fact, in 2015, French TV channels altogether had bought more than 4,940 hours of works supported by the CNC. In 2021, 4,250 hours were allocated to those works.
