Negative opinions of sexual orientations/identities among young people in Italy 2020

The majority of young people in Italy do not hold a negative opinion of any particular sexual orientation or identity, as shown by a survey published in 2021. Specifically, 78 percent of Italians aged 13 to 23 years had no negative opinions toward any sexual orientation or identity, whereas 17 percent of them did not have any interest into this matter. Nevertheless, around six percent of the interviewees held an adverse opinion towards transsexuality.
