According to PwC in 2020, the environmental, social, and corporate governance score for EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) was 85 percent. The Americas had a score of 80% and Asia Pacific had a score of 46%.

Furthermore, the source focused on the five key areas of strategy, stakeholder engagement, climate, diversity and inclusion, and governance - board oversight. The percentages disclosed represent the average scores of companies in the respective regions. A higher percentage reflects a higher level of maturity of reporting in the respective key areas.
