Australia: distribution of gay, lesbian, bisexual and other non-heterosexual persons by age group 2020

According to a survey conducted in Australia in 2020, almost 50 percent who identified as gay, lesbian, bisexual or other a sexual orientation other than heterosexual were aged 25 to 39 years. Only 4.5 percent of persons aged 70 years and over identified with a sexuality other than heterosexual in the country in 2020.
