Employment role of LGBTQ adults in Australia 2020
According to a survey of working adults in Australia in 2020, 38.8 percent of respondents in team member roles identified as being part of the LGBTQ community. Only 0.29 percent of respondents working in CEO or equivalent roles identified as LGBTQ. The annual Australian Workplace Equality Index survey is meant to gauge the overall impact of inclusion initiatives on organizational culture in the country.
