Compared to 2019, the global supply of platinum decreased by 22 percent in 2020. The demand for platinum worldwide also decreased by 15 percent in 2020 compared to 2019. Palladium and copper also experienced decreased in supply and demand over the same timeframe to a lesser extent, while nickel supply actually increased.
