Prices of food products in Ondo State 2023
Prices in Nigeria are generally increasing due to a steady inflation, and food items are particularly impacted. The prices also vary considerably from state to state. In Ondo State, one kilogram of local rice, sold loose, costed on average 638 Naira in February 2023 (around 0.84 U.S. dollars). One kilogram of boneless beef, on the other hand, reached 1,988 Naira, which is equal to roughly 2.63 U.S. dollars, while one bottle of palm oil costed on average 1199 Naira per liter, some 1.58 U.S. dollars.
