In 2022, the Indonesian Social Security Administrator for Health, or BPJS Kesehatan, recorded about 113.5 trillion Indonesian rupiah in financial burden. The Indonesian National Health Insurance, or JKN, is a program initiated by the Indonesian government to ensure that every Indonesian citizen gets a financial assurance whenever they need health care services.
