Hospital equipment in use in Colombia 2023, by type
As of 2023, the installed base of anesthesia machines in Colombian hospitals was estimated at 2,069 units. C-arms and laparoscopic equipment, tools used during surgery along with anesthesia machines, had an installed base of 331 and 439 units, respectively. In 2020, the South American country made use of 1,161 operating rooms, the third largest quantity among Latin American nations.
