Trust in leaders of environmental groups by party in Canada 2021

Since 2002, federal Liberal Party supporters' trust in the leaders of environmental groups has declined only slightly. In contrast, trust among conservative parties' supporters - which in 2002 included both the Progressive Conservative Party and the Canadian Alliance - was much lower in 2021 than in 2002. Confidence in the leaders of environmental groups today is 35 points lower than in 2002 among PC party supporters. Thus, the gap between federal and opposition supporters regarding confidence in leaders of environmental groups is wider today than it was in 2002.
