Motivations for signing up for new ad-free video services in the U.S. 2021
In June 2021, approximately half of respondents to a survey conducted in the United States that signed up for new ad-free TV or online video services in the past six months, stated to do so due to exclusive content. Second most common reasons were good value for the cost and deep catalog, according to 46 percent of people interviewed. Only 24 percent of respondents stated they signed up because of specific shows.
