Brazil: monthly household income per capita by state 2022

In 2022, the monthly household income per person in Brazil varied considerably across the different federal units. The Distrito Federal, where the country's federal capital is located, had the highest per capita income, at 2,913 Brazilian reals per month. This figure was more than double that of the states of Maranhão and Alagoas. The national average was 1,625 reals per capita per month.
