Reasons for private education in general subjects South Korea 2021, by purpose
According to a survey conducted in South Korean in 2021, the most common purpose of paying for private education on general subjects was to make up for classes. This was the reason given by about 50 percent of respondents. About 24 percent of students said they use private lessons to help them learn the material ahead of time.
