Partaking in events with or for the LGBT community in South Korea 2021, by activity
According to a survey conducted among 16 to 74 year olds in South Korea between April 23 and May 7 of 2020, the most common engagement South Koreans had with the LGBT people was when speaking out against prejudiced behavior aimed at them, with 19 percent reporting to have done so. More personally involved engagements were undertaken by far less people, with the second most engagement, visiting an LGBT-oriented venue such as gay bars or gay clubs, was only undertaken by 5 percent of people.
