eSports events maximum ticket price allowance by fans worldwide in 2021
The eSports market has boomed in recent years with more and more viewers tuning in to watch their favorite games being played by some of the best gamers in the world. Players can compete against each other, individually or in teams, in multiplayer video game tournaments across the world, which are often played out in front of a live audience. During a global survey in September 2021, around 14 percent of respondents stated that they would be willing to pay a maximum ticket price of 41 to 60 U.S. dollars to attend an eSports event. Meanwhile, 10 percent of respondents claimed to be willing to pay more than 100 U.S. dollars for a ticket.
