COVID-19: difficulty covering medical expenses 2020

According to a survey carried out in Mexico between July and August 2020, nearly a quarter of respondents stated that they would find it very difficult to cover health expenses when going to a public health institution if threy contracted COVID-19, while only 18.6 percent affirmed they would get public support without difficulties. The type of treatment most financially accessible for respondents were home remedies and homeopathy.
