Funding of banking fintechs worldwide 2015-2024

After years of strong growth, global investments in fintech banking startups saw a sharp decline in 2022 and 2023. Investment values dropped from over 21 billion in 2021 to just 2.5 billion in 2023. In 2024, investment activity showed a slight rebound, reaching 3.8 billion, but it remained far below the sector's peak levels.
