Opinion on the compensation of scholarships for student athletes in the U.S. in 2022
For many students who play college sports in the United States, receiving an academic scholarship can be helpful in paying school fees and tuition. During a survey conducted in the United States in May 2022, 43 percent of respondents stated that they thought academic scholarships in the U.S. adequately compensated student athletes. Meanwhile, 27 percent of respondents thought this compensation was not adequate.
