(Peri)menopause discussions and their helpfulness among U.S. women, 2020
According to a 2020 survey, only one quarter of women over 35 years have had a discussion with their mother about the impact of declining hormone levels on a woman’s body as she ages. Yet of those who did, 86 percent felt it was helpful. Of the 45 percent who had discussed this topic with their doctor, 90 percent found it helpful.
