In 2021, around 34.9 percent of participants aged 25 to 34 who took part in a survey about home burglary in Australia said there were more concerned about home burglary in their suburb compared to 12 months ago. That same year, around 15 percent of respondents 65 years and older said they were more concerned about home burglary in their suburb compared to 12 months ago.
