During a survey conducted on alcohol consumption in Australia during the COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020, 14 percent of respondents said they had been consuming alcohol daily during the pandemic escalation. Conversely, more then 60 percent of the respondents did not feel that their drinking was influenced.
