According to a survey conducted among residents in Hong Kong in 2020, around 57 percent of respondents avoided dental treatment due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Around 50 percent of respondents minimized Western medicine consultation and 43 percent respondents reduced the frequency of traditional Chinese medicine consultation..
