Argentinians' willingness to travel 2021, by generation
Among potential tourists surveyed in Argentina, those born between the mid-to-late 1990s and early 2000s — also known as Centennials or Gen Z— showed the highest increase in their desire for traveling after a year into the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. In total, nearly seven out of ten Centennials surveyed in the South American country reported that they were more willing to travel as of April 2021. In contrast, survey participants from Generation X — born between the early-to-mid 1960s and early 1980s — registered the highest decline in the desire to travel.
