GHG emissions reduction across sectors for green recovery 2020-2030
The potential for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions cumulatively across the 21 emerging markets from 2020 to 2030 is anticipated to amount to as much as four billion metric tons of carbon dioxide. The measures with the largest GHG emissions reduction potential during that period of time are retrofitting buildings to be more energy efficient, and reinventing textile and apparel value chains to be less emissions intensive.
