According to a survey of television, radio, and multimedia broadcasters in New Zealand in 2021, all respondents rated aspects of the Broadcasting Standards Authority's (BSA) written decisions positively, with the exception of two. The Broadcasting Standards Authority was established in 1989 and is tasked with determining and ensuring compliance with Codes of Broadcasting Practice on free-to-air television, pay television, and radio.
