Workplaces with prolonged sitting in Europe 2019

In 2019, almost 75 percent of enterprises surveyed in Slovenia reported that prolonged sitting presented a risk factor in the workplace. Prolonged sitting can be linked to many health problems and is particularly prevalent in office workers. Across the EU, the average share of workplaces with prolonged sitting amounted to 60.8 percent.
