According to a survey on subscription video on demand (SvoD) conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2024, approximately 19 percent of Indonesian respondents stated that they used SvoD services without subscriptions and accessed the account through other means. The same survey found that around 46 percent of respondents in Indonesia did not subscribe to any SvoD services.
