Celebrity influencers with more than one million followers made an average of between 35 and 80 thousand euros per post on YouTube in Italy as of July 2023. Nano-influencers on the same platform - with three to 10 thousand followers - made between 500 and 1,500 euros per post. In 2022, YouTube surpassed Instagram as the highest-paying channel for influencers in Italy.
